Psalms 103

Bless the  Lord, O My Soul

Of David.

a Bless the  Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
b Bless the  Lord, O my soul,
and c forget not all his benefits,
who d forgives all your iniquity,
who e heals all your diseases,
who f redeems your life from the pit,
who g crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who h satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like i the eagle’s.
The  Lord works j righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known his k ways to Moses,
his l acts to the people of Israel.
The  Lord is m merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
n He will not always chide,
nor will he o keep his anger forever.
10 He does not deal with us p according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For q as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his r steadfast love toward s those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he t remove our transgressions from us.
13 As u a father shows compassion to his children,
so the  Lord shows compassion v to those who fear him.
14 For he knows our frame;
Or  knows how we are formed

he x remembers that we are dust.
15  As for man, his days are like y grass;
he flourishes like z a flower of the field;
16 for aa the wind passes over it, and ab it is gone,
and ac its place knows it no more.
17 But ad the steadfast love of the  Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on ae those who fear him,
and his righteousness to af children’s children,
18 to those who ag keep his covenant
and ah remember to do his commandments.
19 The  Lord has ai established his throne in the heavens,
and his aj kingdom rules over all.
20  Bless the  Lord, O you ak his angels,
you al mighty ones who am do his word,
obeying the voice of his word!
21 Bless the  Lord, all his an hosts,
his ao ministers, who do his will!
22  ap Bless the  Lord, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
aq Bless the  Lord, O my soul!
